Video Requests for World Conference

Journey to World Conference Message
For World Conference, we want to hear voices from all ages and places about what hope means to you!  Please participate and share with your congregation.
 
The worship team is gathering short simple videos to share during our worship services and want to hear and see folks from across the church. We have two separate prompts you can choose from to submit a video recording. You can choose one, or both options. 
 
See description and links below for more information and how to easily record via phone or tablet and submit.
 
OPTION 1— “Hope is…”
Record a brief video sharing what hope is to you. This should be a very short video, no longer than 1 minutes. Your description of hope could be relating to an object, person, occurrence in your life, or something else. Your video should start with the phrase “Hope is…” and then you can elaborate in 1-3 sentences. 
Examples: 
  • Hope is like a birdsong. Its melody provides gentle comfort amidst the chaos of life. 
  • Hope is a balm to my soul. When life is difficult, I think of Jesus Christ, who gives me strength to carry on.

OPTION 2— Messages of hope based on the daily themes of World Conference. 
Below are the World Conference daily themes. Share a story that relates to one of the daily themes. These videos should be about 1-3 minutes in length.

  • Turn Toward Hope
  • Spirit of Hope
  • Choose Hope
  • Onward in Hope

Retirement Gift for President Veazey

In June 2025, Stephen M. Veazey will be retiring as prophet-president of Community of Christ. His leadership over the last 20 years has been defined by a consistent call to share the peace of Jesus Christ and live Christ's mission with vision, courage, and compassion.
We are inviting you to share your gratitude, memories, photos, and stories to create a book that will be gifted to President Veazey. All submissions will be reviewed.  Submit at Book
